Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Infrastructure Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Building and optimizing resilient, high-availability production systems for an enterprise generative AI platform with an accent on SRE, DevOps, and platform automation. Focus on automating operational tasks via Python/Go, managing multi-region Terraform layouts, and integrating agentic AI tools into the infrastructure workflow.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in the New York City or London hubs

What you will do

• Manage SRE, DevOps, and platform initiatives, including on-call posture, release pipelines, and multi-region infrastructure layouts.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management using Python or Go to eliminate toil.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Integrate agentic AI tools (Claude Code, Droid, Codex) into daily workflows for incident investigation and tooling scaffold.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems to prevent recurring failures.
• Own the reliability and performance of core services, defining and upholding SLOs and error budgets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps at a high-growth product company.
• Production experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform/Pulumi on a major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling.
• Active use of agentic AI tooling in daily professional workflow is a hard requirement.
• Experience with monitoring and logging stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Must be based in New York City or London.

Nice to have

• Strong software engineering background with experience designing and shipping non-trivial production code.
• Ability to read and modify the application codebases that the infrastructure supports.
