Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Robotics)

Location: San Carlos, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $190,000–$230,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code systems for reliable provisioning and scaling.
• Build self-service tooling that enables engineers to handle common cloud requests safely.
• Own cloud infrastructure reliability and scalability from architecture through incident response.
• Lead incident response, communicate clearly during outages, and drive post-incident remediation.
• Partner with the security team to improve cloud infrastructure security and reliability.
• Support Kubernetes clusters, AWS accounts, CI systems, identity and access infrastructure, and GPU compute.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on production experience with a major cloud provider or large-scale on-premises infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, and cloud architecture trade-offs.
• Experience with service-to-service communication, identity and authentication, and Terraform.
• Ability to write production code in Python and/or Go.
• Ability to work on-site in San Carlos, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Cloudflare, GPU cloud providers, infrastructure security, or chaos engineering.
• Experience improving incident response processes, cloud reliability, and CI platforms.
