What you will do

• Perform electromagnetic analysis using ANSYS RMxprt, MotorCAD, and Maxwell.
• Design AC & DC rotating equipment, focusing on thermal loading and insulation systems.
• Develop and evaluate performance testing protocols based on field feedback to optimize product performance.
• Create bills of materials and product costing using SolidWorks, EPDM, and Visual ERP systems.
• Provide technical assistance for sales efforts and support product quoting activities.
• Lead problem identification and correction teams and participate in Kaizen events to improve value streams.

Requirements

• BSEE degree.
• 3 to 7 years of experience, preferably in rotating machinery.
• Knowledge of noise, vibration, and harshness principles as applied to rotating machinery.
• Understanding of various manufacturing processes used in motor production.
• Proof of US Citizenship (US Passport, Birth Certificate, or Naturalization Certificate) and attestation of no dual citizenship.
• Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mechanical motor design.
• Experience working in a LEAN environment.
