What you will do

• Lead power-flow, stability, reliability, and performance studies for the hirify.global Ohio distribution system.
• Direct distribution model building and develop planning standards and operating protocols.
• Manage technical projects and provide support in planning and operational environments.
• Conduct system analyses to ensure continued reliable operation of the distribution network.
• Coordinate the work of external engineers, business consultants, and vendors.
• Support the annual capital forecast and draft long-term distribution strategy and policy plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with an emphasis in power systems.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficient presentation and facilitation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be located in or able to work in Dayton, OH, US.

Nice to have

• Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• 2+ years of distribution planning experience with power flow modeling knowledge.
• Strong understanding of reliability, load flow, stability, short circuit, and voltage regulation.
