What you will do

• Design and support DC power supply systems for electrochemical equipment and industrial-scale cell systems.
• Develop electrical requirements, calculations, equipment specifications, and wiring concepts.
• Coordinate power supply integration with mechanical, instrumentation, and controls teams.
• Support design reviews, hazard reviews, and performance verification activities.
• Evaluate thermal, safety, and manufacturability considerations for high-current DC systems.
• Document design decisions and technical risks in accordance with project expectations.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Experience designing or supporting DC power supply systems for industrial process applications.
• Strong understanding of power conversion, conductors, bus work, and equipment protection.
• Ability to translate process requirements into practical electrical equipment specifications.
• Experience working with custom equipment and multidisciplinary engineering groups.
• Ability to work in a technical environment requiring strict documentation and quality control.

Nice to have

• Experience with electroplating, metallurgy, or molten salt electrochemistry.
• Knowledge of high-current, low-voltage DC systems, rectifiers, and power electronics.
• Background supporting DOE, NNSA, or highly regulated nuclear/energy programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
