Medical Science Liaison Rhino Gastroenterology Southwest

Location: Remote, non-office-based field role; must reside in the Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, or Southern California territory. US and Puerto Rico residents only. Substantial national and international travel may be required.

Salary: $146,250–$211,250 annually.

What you will do

• Engage key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, payers, and other external stakeholders in scientific and medical information exchange.
• Build and maintain long-term peer relationships and execute stakeholder engagement plans for the gastroenterology and rhinology territory.
• Gather, document, and communicate medical insights that inform scientific messaging, medical strategy, research, and product development.
• Support evidence-generation activities, including epidemiology, surveillance, effectiveness studies, clinical trial site identification, and investigator-sponsored studies.
• Organize educational meetings, scientific advisory boards, congress activities, and speaker training when requested.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Business Development, Regulatory, and other internal stakeholders while maintaining compliance.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a technical, scientific, or medical field preferred, or a relevant life science degree such as RN/MS.
• Rhinology and/or gastroenterology specialty experience required.
• Must reside in the assigned territory.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, and ability to safely drive a company vehicle.
• Strong knowledge of disease management, clinical decision-making, healthcare systems, scientific data interpretation, and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, planning, prioritization, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• At least two years of pharmaceutical industry, Medical Science Liaison, or relevant clinical practice experience.
• MSL experience and immunology clinical experience in a gastroenterology environment.
• Experience with research study design and execution.
