What you will do

• Provide advanced desktop support for macOS and Google Workspace environments.
• Support Windows-based IT systems within biotech lab environments to ensure scientific uptime.
• Administer device management platforms including Kandji and Microsoft Intune for security and compliance.
• Optimize IT support workflows and automate ticket handling using Jira Service Management (JSM).
• Implement and monitor HIPAA compliance initiatives to safeguard patient data.
• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement and tracking to auditing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT desktop support.
• Proven expertise in macOS and Google Workspace support.
• Proficiency with Kandji, Microsoft Intune, and JSM (automation, SLAs, dashboards).
• Strong understanding of biotech lab environments and HIPAA compliance.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Menlo Park, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience automating custom forms and integrations in JSM.
• Background supporting CLIA-certified laboratories.
• Experience in biotech or healthcare regulated industries.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and incident response.
