TL;DR

IT Support Specialist (Microsoft): Providing comprehensive end-user support across the organization with an accent on Windows ecosystem, identity management, and hardware maintenance. Location: Remote (US) with required on-site presence in New York City

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000

What you will do

  • Provide on-site technical support in the NYC office and remote support for employees organization-wide.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD, and Active Directory.
  • Support and troubleshoot Windows laptops, macOS, iOS, Android devices, printers, and VoIP solutions.
  • Resolve end-user tickets and service requests through the IT ticketing system with professional documentation.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, role changes, and offboarding processes according to security policies.
  • Install and maintain end-user applications, including Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Teams, and EDR endpoint protection tools.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in New York City.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an end-user-facing technical support role.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with cybersecurity solutions, specifically antivirus and EDR tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with desktop imaging software and server hardware.
  • Certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or Citrix.
