What you will do

• Develop and maintain software for flight and mission simulators to ensure pilot training reliability.
• Modernize critical legacy code bases through enhancements and new feature implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware for real-time applications.
• Execute projects using both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in real-time systems to meet high training standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering for mission-critical or real-time environments.
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access.
• Flexibility for overtime, shift work, weekend work, and CONUS travel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, or MIL-STD-704 standards.
• Experience with ARINC / RTCA standards.
• Background in military training, simulation, or DoD-aligned programs.
