Software Engineer - Test Systems (Aerospace)

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop software for automated aerospace test systems using LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, and Simulink.
• Design, integrate, troubleshoot, and validate equipment for flight control actuation systems.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineers to solve technical challenges and improve test performance.
• Build and integrate test equipment with technicians and assembly teams, acting as a technical liaison between engineering and production.
• Execute formal verification tests, analyze results, resolve issues, and support demonstrations, validation, and test correlation.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration management, version control, user manuals, and training materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Programming experience with one or more of LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, or Simulink.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated test equipment, control systems, data acquisition, or system integration.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, robotics, or industrial automation.
• Experience supporting hardware and software integration.
