Simulation Engineer

Simulation Engineer (Systems Modeling & Simulation): Designing, developing, validating, and maintaining dynamic simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop infrastructure for rapid assessment, integration, test, and sustainment of complex systems with an accent on modeling operational environments and analyzing system survivability, effectiveness, and performance. What you will do

• Model operational environments and run computer simulations to study system behavior and recommend alternative architectures with guidance.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis for engagement/mission-level scenarios to assess survivability, effectiveness, and overall system performance.
• Conduct simulation studies aimed at enhancing and optimizing system performance capabilities.
• Prepare, document, and deliver presentations to collect data and communicate intermediate and final results.
• Support additional assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Systems Engineering or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including excellent mathematical skills.
• Experience with analytical methods and data visualization.
• Understanding of software development, simulation, dynamics, control theory, and hardware interfaces.
• Ability to collaborate in a diverse, multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

• Base salary range for this full-time role: $75,000–$156,000 (base salary only).
