What you will do

• Design and implement embedded software for UAS devices and conduct verification in flight test environments.
• Integrate sensors and processors including autopilots, payloads, and radios.
• Lead project planning and development for new flight programs and systems.
• Debug and isolate software issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
• Mentor junior teammates to foster high standards of software quality.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in embedded software for real-time safety-critical systems (avionics or automotive).
• Expertise in C/C++ and RTOS, preferably VxWorks or FreeRTOS.
• Deep understanding of GPS, IMU, CAN bus, SPI, 1553, and serial (RS485) protocols.
• Experience using MATLAB, Simulink, and reading electrical hardware schematics.
• Required: Identity and eligibility verification to work in the United States via E-Verify
