Salary: $66,300 - $75,000

What you will do

• Drive growth and development of open access journals by implementing annual development plans and business development opportunities.
• Manage annual targets for journal submissions, publication volumes, and turnaround times.
• Foster engagement and deliver a best-in-class experience for authors, Editors-in-Chief, and Societies.
• Resolve pre- and post-publication issues related to authorship, scope, ethics, and misconduct.
• Execute contract negotiations with external parties using financial profit and loss statements and forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal staff and the scientific community to ensure the success of the journal portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in life, biomedical, or health sciences.
• Experience developing and maintaining partnerships with academic and industry-based researchers.
• Proven ability to manage tasks independently, meet deadlines, and organize complex workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
• Must be based in or able to work from the New York or London offices.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
