What you will do
- Oversee content development for 5-7 large client accounts in Clinical Services.
- Lead department initiatives like onboarding, student recruitment, and innovation.
- Act as medical lead in brand planning, strategic development, and tactical plans for accounts and new business.
- Develop and maintain account-specific SOPs, conduct training, and allocate resources across workstreams.
- Supervise 6+ team members, provide feedback, coaching, and track development plans.
- Resolve escalated issues between stakeholders and ensure adherence to company principles.
Requirements
- BA/BS in life sciences or BA/BS in English with pharma agency/medical communications experience.
- Minimum 9 years in medical communications, pharma, or healthcare industry.
- Experience in managed markets promotional content development.
- Command of AMA style; strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, PubMed, Google Scholar.
- Strong written/verbal communication, analytic ability, self-management, conflict resolution, influencing skills.
- Ability to translate complex science for managed care audiences and prioritize deadline-sensitive projects.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD or PhD).
- Expertise in healthcare literature and insights for managed care.
- Knowledge of managed markets, healthcare system, health reform, HMO/MCO/PBM.
