Salary: $295,000 - $345,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and own the global partnerships strategy to translate policy campaigns into a portfolio of coalitions and alliances.
• Execute policy partnership programs in new regions where the company is expanding its footprint.
• Manage the global policy events portfolio, including flagship programs and presence at partner conferences.
• Cultivate relationships with civil society, academic, and private-sector leaders to represent AI policy positions.
• Implement systems to track, measure, and report the impact of partnerships and convenings to leadership.
• Lead and develop a team of policy partnerships and events experts.

Requirements

• Experience directly managing people in external-facing policy roles.
• Proven ability to establish policy programs in unfamiliar markets on compressed timelines.
• Strong cross-functional project management skills across research, policy, legal, and communications.
• Ability to make strategic judgment calls in ambiguous situations with incomplete information.
• Deep understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local policy dynamics.
• Experience with budget ownership and financial accountability.

Nice to have

• 12+ years of experience in partnerships at tech companies, advocacy orgs, or government.
• Track record of high-impact advocacy with third-party and policy audiences.
• Experience educating audiences on AI/ML or other complex technical topics.
• International experience leading policy work outside the United States.
• Background in high-growth technology companies as an early functional hire.
