What you will do

• Develop backend services that support core ML/AI product features.
• Create scalable, resilient, and highly performant backend infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage various applications in production environments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with therapists, data scientists, engineers, and product managers.
• Write high-quality production code daily to move business priorities forward.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience delivering production-ready products.
• Proficiency in Java and Python (Kotlin is a plus).
• Experience implementing production-level RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational and low-latency databases.
• Experience working with Docker and deploying to Kubernetes.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with FastAPI and data streaming (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events).
• Understanding of machine learning principles and production model inference.
• Experience defining and using Protobuf messages.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience working with sensitive healthcare data.
