What you will do

• Design complex analog and mixed-signal circuits, including TX, RX, amplifiers, filters, and on-die voltage regulators.
• Perform circuit analysis and tradeoffs to optimize power, performance, area, timing, and yield.
• Create and validate behavioral models for analog and mixed-signal IPs for system-level integration.
• Develop floorplans and layouts ensuring adherence to design rules and robustness.
• Collaborate with architecture, layout, and validation teams to ensure seamless product integration.
• Conduct post-silicon validation and debug to ensure functionality meets product requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (3+ years exp), Master's (2+ years exp), or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in VLSI analog circuit design and small-signal analysis.
• Experience with Synopsys and Cadence design tools and flows.
• Knowledge of design optimization techniques related to performance, power, and area.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of high-speed IO signaling, transmission line theory, and power delivery.
• Familiarity with PLLs, ADCs, DACs, and noise analysis methodologies.
• Experience with Python, Matlab, VS Code, and GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to perform post-silicon characterization using lab tools like oscilloscopes.
