What you will do

• Design wireline high-speed analog mixed-signal circuitry for data center connectivity.
• Research and apply cutting-edge design and validation for serial link applications such as fiber optic systems and Gigabit Ethernet.
• Develop novel circuit techniques to achieve maximum speed and performance while optimizing power and area.
• Analyze equipment, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate electronic components and integrated circuitry.
• Characterize and debug analog designs for manufacturability.
• Create circuit models to define package and PC board requirements.

Requirements

• Masters degree with 6+ years of related experience or PhD with 3+ years of related experience.
• Expertise in analog circuit design and CMOS device operating regions and characteristics.
• Experience with common circuit topologies for circuits running at 1 GHz and above.
• Deep understanding of analog circuit design trade-offs (noise, distortion, bandwidth, stability).
• Knowledge of signal processing in analog filters, ADCs, DACs, and feedback controlled loops.
• Proficiency with simulation tools, custom layout tools, and common lab equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
