Onsite Release of Information Specialist - Clearfield, PA

Location: Onsite at a hirify.global client site in Clearfield, PA, USA

Salary: $15.25–$18.00 per hour

What you will do

• Process medical release of information requests accurately and efficiently.
• Enter request data and manage workflows using hirify.global software.
• Organize medical records, forms, and authorizations to complete the release process.
• Support the resolution of HIPAA-related release issues and maintain confidentiality.
• Provide customer service in person, by phone, and by email as required by the location.
• Attend required training and support the effective operation of the department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred.
• At least 2 years of medical records experience.
• At least 2 years of clerical or office work experience.
• Experience using desktop computers, scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Healthcare setting experience and knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations related to protected health information are preferred.
