Associate General Manager

Location: Sacramento, CA; fully onsite 4–5 days per week. Candidates must be based in the Sacramento area or willing to relocate. Early morning and evening work may be required.

Salary: $85,000–$130,000 per year, excluding equity or variable pay.

What you will do

• Manage daily onsite operations to deliver safe, reliable, and accessible transportation services.
• Make real-time decisions involving fleet operations, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and unexpected issues.
• Manage the driver employee lifecycle, including scheduling, PTO approvals, inquiries, performance conversations, and policy adherence.
• Coordinate vehicle schedules and service capacity to meet demand.
• Work with city partners, drivers, unions, community leaders, and local organizations.
• Use operational data and technology to diagnose problems, improve efficiency, and enhance rider experience.

Requirements

• Based in the Sacramento, CA area or willing to relocate.
• 4–6 years of experience as an operations manager or in a comparable operations leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience leading support or driver teams and developing engaged, collaborative teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work onsite 4–5 days per week, including occasional early mornings or evenings.
