What you will do

• Own the monthly invoicing process end to end, including building and releasing invoice batches and distributing ~800 invoices per month across standard, self-bill, and bespoke arrangements.
• Ensure complete and accurate invoicing by running controls, validation, and review for invoice completeness, plan coverage, rates, invoicing groups, and banking data; investigate and resolve exceptions.
• Own Accounts Receivable and collections from issuance through cash receipt, including ACH pulls/re-attempts and timely cash application to support month-end close.
• Manage the A/R inbox and respond to billing inquiries within service level agreements, coordinating with internal partners to resolve issues.
• Operate and continuously improve automation using internal Claude skill suite for recurring workflows (self-bills, cash application, dashboards, batch QA).
• Maintain billing data and portals (including AP/supplier portals such as Coupa and SAP) and track billing/A&R performance metrics (DSO, AR turnover, aging, invoice error rate, on-time batch rate, SLA attainment).

Requirements

• Experience owning Billing and Accounts Receivable processes in a high-volume environment, with experience using QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar financial systems.
• Strong understanding of A/R and collections, including DSO, aging, cash application, and operational drivers of collections performance.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills to identify variances, trace issues across multiple data sources, and drive resolution.
• Continuous-improvement mindset with interest in automation and AI to make recurring processes more accurate, efficient, and scalable.
• Meticulous attention to accuracy and controls, with disciplined validation to prevent client or reporting issues.
• Clear, proactive communication and ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately.
