What you will do

• Design and deploy end-to-end reconciliation solutions, including matching logic, break dashboards, and exception queues.
• Own daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across card networks, banking partners, and internal ledger data.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into concrete measurement systems and key performance metrics.
• Partner with data engineering to build, validate, and maintain data pipelines for financial reporting.
• Identify and resolve control gaps, revenue leakage, and manual processes through automation.
• Lead month-end close support and provide audit-ready documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of experience in reconciliation, settlement, payment operations, or finance analytics (or 3+ years with a Master's degree).
• Expert-level SQL skills for automated reporting and complex data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, double-entry concepts, and money-movement mechanics.
• Demonstrated experience independently owning financial reporting workstreams end to end.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with reconciliation tooling.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with card-network reconciliation (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover).
• Familiarity with funds-transfer processes (ACH, wire, SWIFT, RTP/FedNow).
• Scripting skills in Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery and BI platforms like Looker.
• Exposure to SOX-adjacent processes and audit support.
