Risk Management Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Northfield, Illinois, United States; business travel of up to 15%, including domestic and international travel.

Salary: $73,000–$110,000 annual, with bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Support the global insurance program by coordinating with brokers, insurers, consultants, and third-party administrators.
• Collect and analyze global exposure data, update property values, issue certificates of insurance, process invoices, and allocate premiums.
• Review insurance policies, validate wording, and recommend updates to policies, practices, and processes.
• Coordinate loss control programs, attend risk surveys, and work with business locations to implement risk mitigation solutions.
• Compile insurance claim information, follow up with adjusters, and support contract reviews, vendor certificate tracking, business continuity, and financial needs.
• Improve the risk management information system through data validation, reporting, and tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least two years of experience in finance, risk management, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of insurance processes and ability to interpret policy wording.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong communication, organization, customer relationship, analytical, and follow-up skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for business purposes.

Nice to have

• ARM certification.
• Intermediate SAP skills.
• Corporate risk management or insurance broker experience.
• Experience with Origami Risk.
• Healthcare or life sciences industry experience.
