Facilities, Maintenance and Shipping and Receiving Technician

Salary: $20.34–$37.74 per hour, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for building systems and facility equipment.
• Handle minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and workspace modification tasks.
• Coordinate contractors, respond to work orders, maintain tools and records, and recommend facility improvements.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits, support OSHA and company compliance, and maintain permits and safety documentation.
• Manage waste collection, spill response equipment, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, and safety training support.
• Receive, inspect, package, document, store, and deliver materials while coordinating freight pickups and operating material-handling equipment when certified.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three or more years of facilities maintenance, building operations, or related trades experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Understanding of Environmental Health and Safety practices and regulations, including OSHA compliance.
• Ability to read manuals, work orders, and safety procedures; Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification, plus strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and customer-service skills.
