Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician (Data Centers)

Location: Onsite data center campus; regular property tours, equipment monitoring, scheduled shifts, occasional overtime, and weekend work may be required.

Hourly pay: $35.00–$45.00/hr

What you will do

• Assist with maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression, life-safety, temperature control, building management, and digital security systems.
• Perform and track preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance through electronic work-order systems.
• Inspect buildings, lighting, grounds, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and repair needs.
• Perform minor electrical troubleshooting, replace bulbs, ballasts, and fuses, and service plumbing fixtures and drains.
• Operate hand tools, power equipment, and machinery; maintain inventories of tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor building conditions and support the movement, loading, unloading, and storage of supplies, furniture, and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of working experience.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week plus occasional overtime and weekend shifts.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of electrical or mechanical critical-facility systems is an advantage.
