What you will do

• Define and execute the field and events strategy aligned with pipeline and revenue targets.
• Manage third-party conferences, sponsorships, and booth experiences from planning to follow-up.
• Create owned events such as executive dinners, roadshows, hackathons, and workshops.
• Partner with sales to design regional field programs for priority markets and named accounts.
• Track and report ROI for events-sourced and events-influenced pipeline.
• Hire, coach, and scale a dedicated field and events team as the program grows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in field marketing or demand generation within B2B software or infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering events that generate measurable pipeline.
• Ability to operate as a player-coach, handling both high-level strategy and on-site execution.
• Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools.
• Must be based in the US.
• Must be willing to travel frequently to be on the ground for events.

Nice to have

• Experience marketing to developers, platform teams, or security/infrastructure buyers.
• History of building a field/events function from the ground up.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
