What you will do

• Define the enterprise QA strategy and multi-year quality roadmap across a multi-product SaaS suite.
• Lead and scale a globally distributed QA organization encompassing manual, automation, and performance testing.
• Establish standards for test automation using tools like Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress.
• Govern quality gates within CI/CD pipelines and define critical quality metrics such as defect escape rate and automation ROI.
• Drive the adoption of AI-augmented testing including test generation and self-healing automation within the AIDLC framework.
• Manage QA budgets, tooling investments, and vendor relationships.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in software quality engineering with significant senior leadership experience managing managers.
• Proven track record leading QA for large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Expertise in automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Strong experience in performance and reliability testing (JMeter, k6) and defining SLOs/SLAs.
• Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Practical experience with Generative AI tools (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for test acceleration.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating the quality of AI-generated code.
• Knowledge of cross-browser and real-device testing at scale (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Background in security, accessibility, and observability practices (OpenTelemetry, Grafana).
• Experience scaling QA through rapid growth or M&A integration.
