TL;DR
Director of QA (AI): Architecting and leading the quality engineering discipline into the AI era with an accent on AI-driven quality initiatives, automation infrastructure, and performance engineering. Focus on deploying LLM-powered test generation, validating non-deterministic AI behaviors, and embedding AI-quality thinking into the SDLC.
Location: Hybrid in Raanana, Israel (2 days office, 3 days remote)

What you will do
- Define and lead AI-augmented quality initiatives, including LLM-powered test generation, triage, and root-cause analysis.
- Architect scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers with shift-left CI/CD integration.
- Lead enterprise-scale performance engineering, defining SLOs/SLAs and driving root-cause analysis for bottlenecks.
- Manage and grow multi-team organizations consisting of automation engineers and architects.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and R&D leadership to bridge engineering velocity and product reliability.
Requirements
- 12+ years in software engineering or QA with 5+ years of leadership at Director or senior Staff+ level.
- Deep hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Proven track record in large-scale performance engineering (10,000+ concurrent users).
- Experience operating AI/ML systems and knowledge of LLM capabilities (prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript, or Java) and modern CI/CD tooling.
- Must be based in or able to work from Raanana, Israel to comply with the hybrid work model.
