What you will do

• Analyze operational performance and trends of solar plus storage sites to ensure reliability and safety.
• Lead execution of performance tests in accordance with production and capacity commitments.
• Investigate root causes of lost energy and troubleshoot systems in operation.
• Produce detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports with variance analysis.
• Collaborate with field service and asset management teams to optimize site performance.
• Utilize technology such as drones, LiDAR, and thermal imaging to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• Proficiency with advanced analysis and database tools for developing metrics and dashboards.
• Ability to read and comprehend equipment and facility schematics.
• Must be willing to travel within the U.S. to support the PV solar/BESS asset portfolio (10-15%).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High commitment to a quality safety culture and incident-free environment.

Nice to have

• PE qualifications or on track to become qualified.
• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience with PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design and interconnection.
• Proficiency with PowerBI, machine learning, or SCADA systems.
