What you will do

• Own end-to-end financial operations including FP&A, treasury, cash/FX management, and revenue recognition.
• Manage legal and regulatory posture across the US, UK, and EU, including commercial contracting and corporate governance.
• Lead M&A activities from sourcing and diligence to structuring and integration.
• Build and maintain financial models for the board and lenders.
• Manage outside counsel and determine the strategy for in-house versus external legal support.
• Establish monthly reporting rhythms and identify operational risks for scaling.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in investment banking, specifically in M&A or leveraged finance.
• 7–10 years of operating experience in venture-backed companies (Series A to Series C).
• Proven track record in raising both equity and debt capital.
• Experience managing legal functions, commercial contracting, and governance without a dedicated General Counsel.
• Proficiency in using AI tools daily for analysis, diligence, and drafting.
• Must be based in San Francisco for this on-site role.

• Experience with private credit, asset-backed, or working capital facilities.
• Interest in climate, commodities, trade finance, or energy transition markets.
