What you will do

• Prepare monthly financial statement packages and record journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, and amortization.
• Perform general ledger analysis and comprehensive account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes within strict internal and external deadlines.
• Analyze financial results, prepare variance explanations, and assist with budget and forecast updates.
• Coordinate with Property Management teams to provide financial information and handle routine accounting inquiries.
• Support the onboarding of new properties and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within property accounting or real estate.
• Solid working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Experience with property accounting systems such as Yardi or MRI is preferred.
