What you will do

• Analyze financial statements, management profiles, business and product cycles, cash flow, and historical operating performance to assess credit risk.
• Prepare credit assessments, identify strengths and risks, recommend risk ratings, and make underwriting decisions for merchant services applications.
• Evaluate larger and more complex credits, including industry-specific or large-market requests, within established approval authority.
• Discuss alternative structures and outstanding requirements with merchant sales representatives.
• Analyze customer and bank-generated projections, including what-if scenarios, and recommend processing or reserve changes to reduce exposure and preserve profitability.
• Collect industry and payment-card-network data, support internal training, and participate in special projects such as AML reporting.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of credit risk experience.
• Experience with credit and financial statement analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and meet service-level agreements.
• Expert knowledge of payment card network rules and regulations.
