NPI Engineer

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing readiness activities from concept through production launch across internal sites and Contract Manufacturers.
• Drive Design for Excellence (DFX) initiatives including DFM, DFA, DFT, and Design for Cost to optimize product scalability.
• Manage pilot, validation, and qualification builds while defining tooling and equipment requirements.
• Perform product cost analysis using should-costing tools and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Lead Process FMEA activities to proactively identify and mitigate manufacturing risks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure on-time project execution and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of experience in NPI or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Proven experience with factory ramp-up and Contract Manufacturer support.
• Strong knowledge of DFX, PFMEA, GD&T, and Build-to-Print drawings.
• Proficiency with PLM and ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Ability to travel 25–40% to support global manufacturing sites.
