Salary: $85,600–$145,500 annually

What you will do
- Build systems-engineering expertise across wafer inspection platforms, including image-processing servers, wafer stages, vibration isolation, motion control, opto-mechanical systems, and automated wafer handling.
- Support customers and internal teams with system operation, installation, upgrades, diagnosis, repairs, and applications.
- Resolve escalated technical issues through written action plans and hands-on support at customer sites.
- Prepare technical reports covering issues, analysis, system status, assessments, and engineering recommendations.
- Implement and supervise NPI and sustaining activities, including diagnostic improvements, software requirements, training plans, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams during concept and design reviews and drive small projects in a matrix environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, IT/software/networking, electronics, optics, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least two years of proven experience and hands-on experience building, operating, and troubleshooting inspection systems.
- Knowledge of servers, electrical and mechanical systems, motion control, and industry-standard problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly, instruct others, build working relationships, and adapt between program tasks and service needs.
- Availability for domestic and international travel of up to 10–20%.
