Mechatronics Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Lakeland, Florida (Night Shift: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM)

Salary: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related issues across manufacturing systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and industrial control systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-speed production and packaging equipment.
• Execute welding, fabrication, equipment rebuilds, and machine modifications.
• Develop and modify control logic to support equipment improvements and new product introductions.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to improve overall equipment reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or Automation.
• 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting automated systems and working knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley or Siemens).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Lakeland, Florida.
• Ability to work the night shift (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM) is required.

Nice to have

• Background supporting high-speed packaging, printing, or converting equipment.
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial networking.
• Experience working in regulated, secure, or highly controlled manufacturing environments.
