Industrial Automation Specialistt

Location: Onsite in Lakeland, Florida, United States; night shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM.

Salary: $32.00–$36.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related issues across manufacturing systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and industrial control systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-speed production and packaging equipment.
• Support welding, fabrication, equipment rebuilds, and machine modifications.
• Develop and modify control logic for equipment improvements and new product introductions.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Automation, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
• Working knowledge of PLCs and industrial control systems, including Allen-Bradley or Siemens platforms.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Effective English communication is required, and candidates must pass required background checks.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-speed packaging, printing, converting, or manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, and machine rebuilds.
• Familiarity with PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial networking.
• Experience in regulated, secure, or highly controlled manufacturing environments.
