Electro Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Location: Merced, California, USA. Onsite, second shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday; overtime and Saturdays may be required. Training takes place on first shift for approximately one month.

Wage: $27.06–$39.39 per hour based on experience, plus a $0.40 second-shift premium.

What you will do

• Support second-shift maintenance operations and troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
• Collaborate with Process Development and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering teams to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Repair electrical equipment, control circuits, wiring, three-phase motors, PLC applications, servo drives, stepper motors, and VFDs.
• Install electrical wiring, equipment, new electrical services, and computer cable; replace faulty components as needed.
• Schedule work orders and projects through the enterprise asset management system.
• Repair buildings, equipment, bundlers, and machine parts, make dies, reduce downtime, and improve quality.

Requirements

• At least five years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong PLC ladder logic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience and personal tools for the role.
• Strong experience with AC/DC servo drives, stepper motors, and VFDs.
• Strong understanding of and ability to apply NFPA 70E standards.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens is highly desirable; configuration and programming experience is a plus.
