What you will do

• Design and update production-ready 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Integrate electrical components, sensors, and actuators into compact quadcopter airframes.
• Operate 3D printers and shop tools to validate and stress-test designs.
• Create precise 2D manufacturing drawings and BOMs for various fabrication methods.
• Collaborate with electrical, aerodynamic, and supply chain teams to resolve packaging bottlenecks.

Requirements

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or similar.
• 0–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering or robotics.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and parametric assembly design.
• Practical understanding of DFM for CNC, 3D printing, and plastic enclosures.
• Ability to work on-site in Lausanne.
