Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Support satellite missions from early concept definition through design, integration, launch, and in-orbit commissioning.
• Define and maintain spacecraft system architecture, mission analysis, system modes, the Concept of Operations, and the specification tree.
• Decompose and manage system and subsystem requirements, traceability, engineering databases, interfaces, technical budgets, and margins.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities across avionics, power, AOCS/GNC, propulsion, thermal, mechanical, and software engineering.
• Lead technical assessments, architecture decisions, baseline change control, and technical risk and opportunity management.
• Define verification, validation, and development strategies; support Product Assurance, AIV/AIT, launch preparation, early operations, and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• At least eight years of experience in the spacecraft or satellite industry.
• Proven spacecraft-level systems engineering experience, including requirements decomposition, interface management, and technical baseline control.
• Experience with trade-off studies, spacecraft sizing, performance budgets, and the full space programme lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing several critical technical workstreams simultaneously.
• Professional fluency in English, with strong analytical, organisational, and technical communication skills.
