Global Automation Lead

hirify.global is a global pharmaceutical CDMO developing and manufacturing APIs and finished dosage forms across 16 sites on three continents.

What you will do

• Define and drive the global automation roadmap across the CDMO network.
• Develop standardized, recipe-driven automation architectures using ISA-88 and ISA-95 to support cross-site technology transfers.
• Audit the lifecycle of global DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems and create capital replacement plans for obsolete hardware and software.
• Partner with global project teams during front-end loading and expansion projects to align vendor selection and code architecture with corporate standards.
• Connect plant-floor automation with global IT systems and implement robust OT cybersecurity frameworks.
• Lead local Site Automation Heads by setting performance standards, capability matrices, and global training paths.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Chemical Engineering with a strong software and controls focus.
• 12–15 years of automation leadership experience in a regulated biopharmaceutical, vaccine, or complex CDMO environment.
• Experience managing automated systems across an international, multi-site network, including large-scale DCS or MES deployment and migration programs.
• Strong knowledge of computerized system validation, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity regulations.
• Ability to explain complex software and digital architectures to operational and business stakeholders.
