What you will do

• Lead engineering projects from business case initiation through execution and completion.
• Manage the design, installation, and qualification of production equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Ensure safe execution in compliance with EHS, environmental, regulatory, cGMP, corporate, and site procedures.
• Collaborate with Business Units, QA, EHS&S, sustainability stakeholders, and global engineering organizations.
• Support project funding approval through business case development.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in Project Engineering within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
• Familiarity with project management approaches, engineering processes, and design thinking methodology.
• Strong organization, communication, collaboration, decision-making, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Fluency in German and English, both oral and written, is required.
• Occasional regional travel may be required, at less than 10%.

Nice to have

• Certification in FPX or Lean processes.
• Knowledge of sustainability, environmental challenges, decarbonization, and cleantech solutions.
