Manufacturing Quality Engineer (Robotics)

hirify.global is a high-growth Series A startup developing Physical AI and retrofit hardware that turns heavy construction machines into autonomous robots.

What you will do

• Define hardware quality standards and build the quality function from the ground up.
• Design and implement testing systems, jigs, and fixtures from incoming inspection through product shipping.
• Document failures, identify root causes, maintain a failure database, and coordinate mitigations with design and production.
• Analyze field returns through teardowns and drive corrective actions.
• Own supplier quality activities, including first article inspection, qualification, audits, and 8D follow-through.
• Improve drawings, specifications, acceptance criteria, and long-term reliability and environmental testing.

Requirements

• University degree in mechanical, electrical, or quality engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of quality or manufacturing engineering experience in low-volume manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with failure analysis, product teardowns, CAD-based fixture design, and hand metrology.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with GD&T, SQL, or Python.
• Exposure to environmental or accelerated lifetime testing, including vibration, shock, ingress, or UV testing.
• Fluency in Mandarin.
• Experience with off-highway, agricultural, mining, or other harsh-environment equipment.
