Talent Acquisition, Associate (Recruiter)

Location: New York, New York, United States

Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, with potential performance bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for front-office roles across Quant, Strategist, Risk, and Technology teams.
• Partner with business stakeholders and search firms to execute the talent acquisition strategy.
• Build and use professional networks to identify high-quality candidates.
• Provide search updates, recruitment guidance, and trusted-advisor support throughout each process.
• Manage candidate communication and engagement from initial contact through completion.
• Develop a strong understanding of the business, brand, and values while representing the firm’s talent strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of lateral recruiting experience in financial services.
• Experience recruiting Quant and Strategist roles, with an understanding of quant terminology, programming languages, and business concepts.
• Experience managing recruitment processes from start to finish.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and search firms.
• Willingness to support roles outside of Quant in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience recruiting in international markets such as LatAm or EMEA.
• A combination of in-house and agency recruiting experience.
