What you will do

• Define and drive the roadmap for the ledger and accounting platform, including journals, trial balances, and period close workflows.
• Own the General Ledger Engine, ensuring it reflects the real structure of fund vehicles, SPVs, and holdings.
• Lead the development of automated transaction ingestion and integrations with banking and custodian feeds.
• Partner with engineering to design valuation logic and data foundations for NAV and performance calculations.
• Translate complex accounting requirements into clear product logic, automation, and audit trails.
• Collaborate with internal operations and fund controllers to optimize reconciliation and data accuracy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, accounting, or financial data systems.
• Hands-on experience building or extensively working on ledger or accounting systems (ideally shipping a general ledger from scratch).
• Deep working knowledge of double-entry accounting, chart of accounts design, and financial close processes.
• Proven ability to manage mission-critical, data-heavy product areas with strict accuracy requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset with an obsession for precision and traceability.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
