Controls Architect Manager (Workplace Pensions)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Edinburgh, Bristol, or Leeds (Hybrid: 40% in-office required)

Salary: £65,385–£79,915 per annum

What you will do

• Drive control improvements through simplification and automation.
• Champion ERMF compliance across business units.
• Coordinate risk and control assessments with Risk and Control Owners.
• Lead root cause analysis of operational risk events and ensure remediation.
• Provide assurance over supplier policy adherence and manage outsourcing notifications.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on control matters.

Requirements

• Experience in risk management and controls at a managerial level.
• Strong understanding of ERMF and operational risk frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Pensions and Retirement products.
• Experience in process automation and control design.
• Must be able to work from Edinburgh, Bristol, or Leeds hubs at least 40% of the time.
