What you will do

• Lead actuarial engagement on strategic initiatives, business change, and proposition development projects.
• Act as a trusted adviser to stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Risk, and Technology.
• Identify finance impacts, risks, and dependencies associated with new products and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate subject matter experts across multiple teams to achieve delivery objectives.
• Support the development of business cases, governance papers, and decision-making materials.
• Ensure appropriate controls are developed and embedded within project and proposition design.

Requirements

• Qualified actuary with significant experience in insurance environments.
• Experience leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and exercise sound professional judgement.
• Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in the UK (Edinburgh or London).

Nice to have

• Subject matter expertise in BPA products, with-profits business, Solvency UK capital, or reinsurance.
