What you will do

• Lead complex insurance product filings from planning through submission, amendment, monitoring, approval, and documentation using SERFF or comparable platforms.
• Draft, review, and coordinate complex policy and contract forms, riders, endorsements, and filing communications for state insurance departments and the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission (Compact).
• Research, analyze, and interpret regulatory requirements, state-specific guidance, bulletins, and filing practices to identify risks and support decisions.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for regulator questions, objections, and comments; coordinate responses and internal review.
• Partner with Law, Actuarial, Product Development, Compliance, Print Production, and other stakeholders to align filing content, timelines, and expectations.
• Maintain organized records of filing activity, approvals, objections, status updates, and related communications; support records management and information management initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry, regulatory filings, contract filing, product compliance, or product development support.
• Advanced knowledge of SERFF, Compact filings, state insurance department filing practices, regulatory objections, amendments, approvals, and filing documentation standards.
• Experience interpreting statutes, regulations, bulletins, filing guidance, or regulator feedback and converting requirements into clear filing actions or product wording updates.
• Strong technical writing skills, including drafting regulatory responses, objection responses, filing memoranda, and related communications.
