What you will do

• Design and implement best-in-class operational processes for the offline acquiring lifecycle, from underwriting to settlement.
• Manage operational relationships with POS payment partners, terminal vendors, and third-party service providers.
• Oversee end-to-end merchant onboarding for offline payment acceptance, ensuring KYC/AML and scheme compliance.
• Manage the lifecycle of physical POS terminal inventory, including configuration, deployment, and decommissioning.
• Establish and monitor KPIs such as terminal uptime, deployment lead time, and dispute resolution rates.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Finance teams to define operational requirements and reconcile settlement files.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Payments Operations or Business Operations within a bank, PSP, or fintech company.
• Deep operational experience in offline acquiring or merchant services, specifically POS/terminal management.
• Strong knowledge of card scheme rules (Visa/Mastercard) and PCI P2PE compliance for card-present transactions.
• Proven ability to design and document scalable, efficient operational processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with core banking systems and settlement/reconciliation tools.
• Familiarity with PSD2 regulations.
