Salary: $129,300 – $194,700

What you will do

• Design tight tolerance components for prototype systems.
• Develop test infrastructure and characterize components and assembly processes.
• Collaborate with large multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex consumer electronics.
• Execute Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) strategies.
• Manage parts through various production stages and engage with vendors to ensure successful assembly.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical design experience using various fabrication processes.
• 3+ years of consumer electronics design experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals including heat transfer, mechanics of materials, and precision fabrication.
• Proficiency in tight-tolerance fabrication, mechanical drawing composition, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Experience in statistical tolerance analysis techniques.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the United States.

Nice to have

• Strong proficiency in Siemens NX (components, assemblies, and drawings).
• Experience with metrology and deriving insights from FAI data.
• Experience collaborating with electrical engineers to build custom PCBs/FPCs.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
