What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and guide a team of mechanical engineers through 1:1s and growth plans.
• Establish engineering standards and champion best practices in DFM, failure analysis, and design tools.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Quality, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing to meet roadmap milestones.
• Manage global suppliers, JDMs, and Contract Manufacturers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Bridge technical rigor with leadership to bring high-impact products from concept to customer.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record of guiding products from concept to launch and defining tool release processes.
• Expertise in core manufacturing methods (injection molding, sheet metal, welding, casting, machining).
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Woodinville, Washington.

Nice to have

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Knowledge of power transmission systems (drive belts, pulleys, bearings).
• Experience with Process Engineering or Quality Management Systems (QMS).
