Senior Manager, Customer Operations (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in the United States

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000

What you will do

• Coach and develop a team of Operations Managers, setting high performance standards and building leadership bench strength.
• Translate organizational strategy into actionable departmental goals for money movement flows.
• Monitor and optimize high-level metrics including SLA adherence, quality, accuracy, and cycle times.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Sales to operationalize technical changes and shape product roadmaps.
• Maintain a rigorous control environment to mitigate financial risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead root cause analyses on operational trends and complex escalations to implement structural improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 4+ years of operational management experience in financial services, fintech, or banking.
• 2+ years of experience managing other People Managers or Leaders.
• Deep understanding of money movement processes, transaction lifecycles, and risk controls in a regulated environment.
• Proven track record of developing high-performing teams and driving operational improvements.
• Exceptional ability to influence cross-functional leadership and communicate with executives.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Direct experience with 401(k) recordkeeping systems or payroll integrations.
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced fintech environments.
